Diffusion Coefficients of N<sub>2</sub>O and H<sub>2</sub> in Water at Temperatures between 298.15 and 423.15 K with Pressures up to 30 MPa

The diffusion coefficients of CO2 and H2 in aqueous solutions are important numerous processes including carbon capture, geological storage, reservoir storage hydrogen. As is reactive some solutions, especially amine solvents for N2O frequently studied as a surrogate. In this work, the Taylor dispersion technique was used to determine at high dilution water temperatures between 298.15 423.15 K pressures up 30 MPa, with standard relative uncertainty 1.6%. new data intended resolve significant discrepancies literature. results confirm that temperature most controlling factor nearly independent pressure region studied. experimental were correlated using Stokes–Einstein equation, average absolute deviations 0.5% both systems.
